bienvenue au croissant(이하 "본 앱")은 회원가입, 로그인 계정을 요구하지 않으며, 별도의 서버나 데이터베이스를 운영하지 않습니다. 이름, 이메일, 위치정보 등 어떠한 개인 식별 정보도 수집하지 않습니다.
형광펜 표시, 학습 완료 표시, 날짜별 학습 단어 수(캘린더·연속 학습일 표시에 사용), 테마와 알림 설정은 오직 사용하는 기기 안에만 저장됩니다(웹: localStorage, 앱: 기기 내 저장소). 이 데이터는 외부 서버로 전송되지 않으며, 앱을 삭제하거나 브라우저 데이터를 지우면 함께 삭제됩니다. 기기 간 동기화는 지원하지 않습니다.
매일 단어 알림은 기기 자체에서 예약되고 표시되는 로컬 알림입니다. 외부 서버에서 보내는 푸시 알림이 아니므로, 기기를 식별하는 푸시 토큰을 만들거나 전송하지 않습니다. 알림 사용 여부와 시간, 단어 레벨 설정은 기기 안에만 저장되며, 알림에 표시되는 단어는 앱에 이미 포함된 단어 데이터에서 기기가 직접 고릅니다. 알림은 앱의 설정 화면이나 기기의 설정에서 언제든지 끌 수 있습니다.
본 앱은 광고, 분석(analytics), 트래킹 도구를 사용하지 않습니다. 프랑스어 발음 재생 기능은 사용 중인 기기(iOS/브라우저)에 내장된 음성 합성 기능을 이용하며, 이 과정에서 본 앱이나 외부 서버로 전달되는 개인정보는 없습니다.
단어 빈도 데이터는 FLELex (Pintard & François, 2020, CC BY-NC-SA 4.0)를 참고했으며, 이는 개인정보와 무관한 어휘 학습 콘텐츠입니다.

bienvenue au croissant ("the App") does not require sign-up or a login account, and does not operate any server or database. We do not collect any personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or location.
Highlighted words, completed words, the number of words studied on each day (used for the calendar and study streak), and your theme and notification settings are stored only on your device (web: localStorage, app: on-device storage). This data is never sent to any external server, and is deleted if you uninstall the app or clear your browser data. Syncing across devices is not supported.
The daily word notification is a local notification, scheduled and shown by your device itself. It is not a push notification sent from an external server, so no push token or other device identifier is created or transmitted. Your notification settings (on/off, time, word level) are stored only on your device, and the word shown is chosen by your device from the vocabulary already bundled with the App. You can turn notifications off at any time from the App's settings screen or your device settings.
The App does not use ads, analytics, or tracking tools of any kind. French pronunciation playback uses the speech synthesis feature built into your device or browser (iOS/browser), and no personal information is sent to the App or any external server in this process.
Word frequency data is based on FLELex (Pintard & François, 2020, CC BY-NC-SA 4.0), which is vocabulary learning content unrelated to personal information.
